THE FOLEY CUP (sun 24th August 2014)
We are raising money for much needed research into sarcoma.
Kalin Foley was just 12 when diagnosed with cancer called rhabdomyosarcoma. Initially mistaken for a football injury Kalin was finally diagnosed and has spent the last 2 years undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Unfortunately after being given the all clear after 12 months of treatment he has relapsed and is currently undergoing further chemo.
We hold a football game each year between Wanneroo (Kalins former team) and Ocean Ridge (Kalins school mates). The day includes lots of fun and all money raised is given directly to Kalin and his family. This year will be the third Foley Cup and Kalin has decided to donate all proceeds to the Sock it to sarcoma association which is a Perth based research organisation looking for a cure for sarcomas.
Please help this amazing teen who has been through so much for past 2 years.
